Our partner firm seeks an experienced software developer skilled in WebGL, Three.js, Node.js, and optionally C#. Our project involves creating a cutting-edge web-based metaverse platform emphasising real-time updates, multiplayer interactions, and immersive 3D environments.
Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Implement real-time updates and ensure seamless multiplayer experiences in the metaverse.
  • Design, develop, and optimize 3D environments, models, and interactive features using WebGL and Three.js.
  • Utilize Node.js for server-side logic, API integrations, and managing real-time communications.
  • (Optional) Develop and maintain Unity-based applications and features using C# to enhance the metaverse's capabilities. While not directly using the Unity framework, experience with it and C# will be beneficial in understanding the broader ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a top-notch user experience across the platform.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to 3D rendering, performance, or real-time interactions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in WebGL, Three.js, Unity, Node.js, and other pertinent technologies.
  • Produce efficient, maintainable, and reusable code per modern best practices.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable proficiency in WebGL and Three.js, backed by a robust portfolio of past projects.
  • Solid grounding in Node.js and its associated ecosystems.
  • Good to have: Proven experience with C# programming, especially within the Unity framework.
  • Hands-on experience with real-time updates and creating multiplayer experiences in web immersive applications.
  • Acute problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Stellar verbal and written communication abilities
  • Aptitude for team-based collaboration
  • Driven, self-motivated, and eager to innovate and improve.
