Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA) offers 5 different levels of Blockchain certifications, from basic associate level to the advanced architect level. More information on our certifications such as duration, the curriculum can be obtained from the corresponding pages. 

Accelerated Blockchain Competency Development (ABCD) is a technology training programme facilitated by Govt. of Kerala, which will be of high industry relevance in the coming years. By enrolling in this program, students will be able to achieve multiple levels of certification that will help them apply for different job roles in many Technology and Business Organisations (such as Information Technology, Banking, Financial Services, Retail, etc) that uses such technologies. There are two ways of registering.

  1. Direct Registration: If you are a working professional or have working knowledge on Full Stack / MEAN (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node) Stack, you can register directly through our website.  Please note that for enrolling in CBA Program, basic knowledge of any programming language is the only pre-requisite.   2. Through ABCD Program: You can register through the ABCD Website at ( and attend the Full Stack Development (FSD) Program offered by the ICT Academy of Kerala. On completing FSD certification successfully, you can join for Blockchain Certifications through KBA. Yes, but you have to register through the ABCD Program and have to undergo the FSD Certification offered by the ICT Academy of Kerala. There is an exit test at the end of the program based on which your scholarship will be decided. If you are awarded scholarships, then you can pursue blockchain certifications offered by KBA at subsidized rates. Please note that currently the scholarships are only offered for students and unemployed categories.

No, the course registration at the KBA website is absolutely free. However, for the ABCD Program, there will be a fee for the entrance test as decided by the Government of Kerala. For more details, visit For the Blockchain certifications, the course fee has to be paid only after we announce the batch.

The developer/architect programs are offered only for those candidates who successfully complete the Certified Blockchain Associate (CBA) Program which is the entry-level program. For the Certified Blockchain Architect Program, you should successfully complete both the developer programs. For details on the CBA Program, please visit

Any person having basic programming skills can enroll for our CBA Program.

No, the fee for the respective program should be paid fully in advance.

E-mail notifications will be sent to all the registered candidates on scheduling a new batch. The same will be updated in our website and social media pages.

Our CBA Program is currently offered in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode.  All the other courses are offered only in Thiruvananthapuram.

As of now, KBA offers only in-person, classroom-based training and there are no provisions to attend the programs online.

Yes. KBA offers both regular and weekend batches for the CBA program. The weekend batches are offered only on Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Currently, the weekend batches of CBA is offered only in Thiruvananthapuram.

No, age is not a barrier for direct candidates,

KBA is located in a non-residential IT Park so there won’t be any accommodation available inside the campus. However, you can find plenty of options in the near vicinity.

We assist with the placement / Internship of successful candidates. However, we don’t guaranty any placements.

Yes, we provide laptops for the needed candidates for the duration of the program. However, the same cannot be taken outside the premises. Dedicated broadband internet connectivity is available for every candidate.
