About The Program

Kerala Blockchain Academy invites applications for the 3-months KBA Internship Program which is designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Decentralized Application development and Research. Over the course of the internship, participants will embark on a transformative journey, starting with training in Application Development, followed by an online mentorship from Researchers/developers of Kerala Blockchain Academy.

Program Structure

Phase 1

Learning Phase (August)

  • Online sessions on Web Development: 

Sessions which introduce application development.

  • Periodic assessments (programming exercises/reports/quizzes) by mentors to evaluate the learning progress of students.

Only students who pass the periodic assessments with a minimum score of 60% will be eligible to continue the internship. 

Phase 2

Project Development (Blockchain Learning + Internship Phase) (September & October) 

The mentors will arrange sessions on blockchain technology for the participants, covering foundational topics related to the internship area.

Students who pass phase-1, will develop their assigned projects for 2 months, under the guidance of their respective mentors. 

Students can choose their project topic or adhere to the topic suggested by the mentor. The mentors will assess the weekly progress of students through one-on-one meetings/code review sessions.

Certification

Upon program completion, participants are required to furnish a comprehensive Project report on the tasks given as part of the internship. This report is a valuable addition to participants’ portfolios, enabling them to demonstrate their acquired skills and expertise to prospective employers effectively.

Students will be awarded a Blockchain-powered certificate upon successfully fulfilling the program requirements.

KBAIC members: 4000 + GST

Non-KBAIC: 6000 + GST
