ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Certified Hyperledger Fabric Network Administrator program focuses on building and managing networks using Hyperledger Fabric v2.5 in a structured and practical manner. The course also covers the Fabric Client SDK and Hyperledger Caliper. Additionally, it includes a detailed code walkthrough of a sample application chaincode and its deployment.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The course is open for anyone familiar with the concepts of blockchain technology and has advanced programming knowledge of Go, Gin, HTML, JavaScript and Docker compose.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Differentiate between Public and Permissioned distributed ledger technologies.
  • Role of permissioned DLTs for various domain and business applications.
  • The projects under the Hyperledger umbrella, especially Hyperledger Fabric for its distributed enterprise-grade architecture and modular design.
  • Demonstrate the use of various components/modules present in the Hyperledger Fabric platform.
  • Understand and build a small Multi-org based Hyperledger Fabric network.
  • Build a Hyperledger Fabric network for a given use case.
  • Use the Go SDK to interact with chaincode from an external application.
  • Develop a user interface to interact with the network.

PREREQUISITES

  • Thorough knowledge on Blockchain (We highly recommend completing our Certified Blockchain Associate course before joining this course).
  • Knowledge of Go, JavaScript, Gin, HTML and  Docker compose 
  • Understanding of YAML-based configuration files
  • Familiarity with Ubuntu basic commands.
  • Familiarity with the version control system such as Github/GitLab is recommended

DURATION, MODE OF DELIVERY

30 Hours of Online Instructor-led Training + 01 Week Project

CERTIFICATION

The learner is expected to submit a project at the end. There will be an online project evaluation to assess the learner’s understanding of Hyperledger Fabric and the overall network setup workflow. To receive certification, the learner must score at least 60% in both the viva and the project evaluation.

HARDWARE PREREQUISITES

  • Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04 or higher
  • RAM: 8GB or higher
  • Free disk space: 40 GB
  • High-speed internet connectivity

Note: All lab sessions are demonstrated and tested on Ubuntu. While the setup may work on other operating systems, official session support is provided only for Ubuntu. Candidates using other OS are expected to resolve compatibility issues on their own.

3 Fabric Network- Generate certificates using cryptogen, Generate certificates using Fabric CA 3 Hours
4 Fabric Network- Develop configtx.yaml and docker compose files for network, Build the network 3 Hours
5 Fabric Network- Install Chaincode, Invoke and Query the chaincode, Update chaincode 3 Hours
6 Fabric network- Adding another peer to an existing Organization, Adding another Organization to existing network 3 Hours
7 Fabric network – Build the network for usecase, Familiarize Chaincode( code walkthrough), Deploy and Invoke chaincode 3 Hours
8 Fabric Client SDK, Build Client Application in Go 3 Hours
9 Implement REST APIs, Postman Integration,Familiarize Gin web framework, HTML UI Integration 3 Hours
10 Integrate Hyperledger Caliper, Hyperledger Explorer 3 Hours
